Where each number comes from

Company registration country fixes the price columns and gateway: IN → INR/Razorpay; other supported countries → USD/Stripe. Fixed discounts must match that currency.
Admin enters one base per currency (basePrice, basePriceINR), one discount % per interval, one tax % shared by both currencies
Saved rate = round2((base − base × d) × (1 + t)); plan interval discount and tax are baked in, so every price is tax-inclusive
Checkout: lockedPriceAmount = rate × assets × months; first charge = max(locked − discount, 0); no tax is added anywhere on the server
Renewal, scheduled retry and manual retry all charge resolveCycleChargeAmount: max((pending ?? locked) − running discount, 0)
A plan change prices itself with quotePlanChange, starting from what the customer actually pays (the locked price, or a pushed price once it applies), not the plan's list rates. The discount follows the new price by one rule, discountOnPrice: a percentage coupon or promotion is recomputed, a fixed amount or a quote's agreed amount is kept (never more than the price). It is used by a price push, a downgrade at renewal, an upgrade and a reactivation.
A price push is plan-wide only, by a super admin: each subscriber is staged with a first charged cycle at least 24 hours after its email is recorded, and one job per subscriber has a fixed ID so a repeat or a retried plan job sends one email. A queued push is skipped when the subscription's plan, asset count or interval changed since it was priced.

The customer selects one discount (quote, a running promotion, or a coupon code), computed on the full cycle. Its amount becomes discountAmountPerCycle; the calculator shows the server's charge amount.
Fixed coupons and promotions store currency; only matching subscriptions qualify. Percentage discounts have no currency. Quote-created fixed coupons keep the quote currency.

Recording & reporting

Normal settlement invoice stores gross subtotal, actual discount, discount details (source, label, cycle n of N) and paid total; the PDF shows Subtotal, the discount line, Total and 'inclusive of all taxes*', no tax line. Upgrade/trial adjustment invoices carry no discount. The server names every invoice file SOLDIERX_Invoice_<cmdId>_<UTC date paid>.pdf; the portal and the admin panel use that name. The same PDF is attached to the renewal payment-success email and to the signup confirmation (paid or $0 signup; a free claim has none), whose link opens /portal/subscription. Invoice numbers come from a per-day invoice_sequences row incremented inside the invoice's transaction, so concurrent invoices never share a number.
Payment stores native amount plus USD and INR legs at the capture-time FX rate (webhook success, synchronous upgrade success, $0 signup)
Dashboard Total Sales sums the stored leg for the chosen currency; the native card sums amount per currency without conversion
Checkout, upgrade modal and admin plan form show totals with 'inclusive of all taxes*'; taxRatePercent and the admin tax-type select are stored but not read

Fixed defects

D16 resolved: the quote email shows per-asset prices with a percentage discount applied, states a fixed discount as an amount off each billing cycle, and counts signup as the first discounted cycle. The quote-validate response no longer returns legacy USD list prices.
D17 resolved: settlement records the actual discountAmount, and invoice numbers (CMD{YYMMDD}{seq3}) are allocated atomically.
D22 resolved: prices are pushed plan-wide only by a super admin; the single-subscription push is removed. A tax-rate push changes no charge.
D34 and D45 resolved: the upgrade modal shows the server's quote instead of its own estimate, so what it shows is what is charged.
